This manual was originally published in 1929 by the Electric Railway Journal.  They selected ideas submitted by street and interurban railway men in the US and Canada.  It Includes items on track, cars, overhead wire and shop practice.

These manuals were published in 1928 by the New Orleans Public Service, Inc. as a training program for street car mechanics.  They are written in simple language for training people with little or no prior technical knowledge.  The principles illustrated in these manuals can be applied to the maintenance of any electric car.

Electric Railway Handbook, by Albert S. Richey, 1924 version.

This work was first published in 1915 by Albert S. Richey, E.E., Consulting Engineer, Professor of Electric Railway Engineering, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Fellow of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers.  In this 800 page reference, Richey presented a complete description of all facets of electric railway practice from the engineer's point of view.  Updated in 1924, this work remains one of the most complete compendiums of electric railway engineering and practice.
